Do shared links have a default expiration date on Dropbox Basic?

Hello,

I am currently using the free version of Dropbox, and I would like to confirm if shared links to uploaded folders still do not have an expiration date by default. I understand that with the Dropbox Professional or Business plans, it is possible to set an expiration date for shared links. However, I would like to know if, on the free plan, my shared links will remain active indefinitely unless I manually delete or remove them.

Thank you!

  • Yes that is correct, they wont expire as long as the file exists, your account exists and you dont go over the daily bandwidth limits :)
