Is there an auto-download of new files?
I am in radio, and am legally sharing songs with others in radio.
Is there a way for them to auto-download the new songs when they become available?
Obviously, there would need to be a standard landing place for the new songs that get downloaded.

Hey there, bluffwood, welcome to our Community!
Would you mind clarifying how exactly you're sharing songs with others? Which feature do you use?
Is it through a shared link, shared folder or something different?
Also, when you mention auto-download, you mean for the new content to get downloaded to their device automatically? If not, feel free to describe a bit more.
Keep me posted!

Thanks for your reply. I apologize for the delay. I didn't receive an email notification of the reply.
I set up a free drop box, and set the other radio programmers as read, no write, meaning they could download the songs (.wav format) but couldn't delete them nor upload and add to them. They all connect to the dropbox using a url and signing in with their email address and password.
What I'm wanting, is for them to have the option of setting up so they would get the new songs, presumably in a folder they set up on their own computer, of any new song I add.
Thanks for your help- HannahDropbox Staff
Hey bluffwood, I'm afraid that if your recipients are accessing the songs from a "can view" link, it's not possible for the new songs to auto-download to their computer.
The link is, of course, live, so any changes you make (additions, deletions, etc) will appear for them each time they click to open the link, but the new files won't auto-download.
You could edit your link, so that the contents of the link are force-downloaded to the computer of the person opening the link.
However, keep in mind that this will download all the files in the link every time the link is clicked on, not just the new files.
