Preview of photos on Dropbox on Mac no more available
Until now, if you had Dropbox installed on your MacBook, you used to be able to view the images with the spacebar as a way to preview them. Now, next to most of the images is this cloud with the arrow pointing down and the preview function doesn't work anymore. Only when I open the image with a double click, it is available afterwards without cloud and with preview function. I already realize that probably the images are not stored locally on my device and that I double click to open the image first and thereby save it locally. But previously all images in my camera upload were directly stored locally and suitable for preview.
Does this have to do with a setting so I can do that again / images are saved locally? Thanks for your help
Could you try marking the files as available offline to see if you get the same issue with the previewing of the files?

Hello,
Facing the same issue with Dropbox assistance of no help. They basically told me - in a very rude manner - that it was no longer available, that they were not working on a solution and that if i wanted to see the preview, I should now download all the files... That kinda defeats the purpose, doesn't it? I don't want to download all the picture / folder to preview them, rather the other way around. i need the preview to know which one to download...
Shame, this was a nice feature. The customer service reply was below par and my satisfaction with dropbox thus diminished.
