"That didn't work for some reason" error.
t didnt work for some reason". The business user has contacted dropbox support and was supposed to be fixed but is not. How is it possible to get this fixed?

Thanks for checking on different browsers, and platforms jaykid007, awesome job there!
Is it possible that they are sending you a shared folder or an editing link, instead of a link with "view only" permissions?
I'm asking, because we had a similar case in this thread, and that seemed to be the cause.

Hello, I cleared everything and disabled antivirus and still doesn't work. I don't believe the link is banned. The user contacted support when the first link went out blocked and supposedly this link I got should of worked. In this case, would the user need to continue working with Dropbox to get it to work or can I send the link somewhere to have it unlocked?

Provided that their sharing activity has been banned, they'd need to contact Support, and work with our Team in order to resolve it jaykid007.
Once you confirm with them that this isn't the root cause, and that they can access their own link when not signed into their account, you can contact us and let us know.
We'll be more than happy to continue troubleshooting this with you. Thank you!
- jaykid0079 months agoExplorer | Level 3Sounds like their end. I have tried 3 browsers and 2 computers and my phone. I sent them an email to see if they can access to the link not signed in. They confirmed support resolved the ban but apparently not the case. It is an update file for a module I bought from them.
