Deleting Account Error

When I go to delete my account, I get an error message after I've filled in all the details.

 

It flashes with Error 500 and only gives me the option to only go back to the home page or visit the help center.

 

I've tried 3x now to delete and nothing changes.

 

Anyone offer any help?

    I just wanted to let you know that I looked this up internally and I can see that this should be resolved now.

     

    You should now be able to delete your Dropbox account normally.

    Hi, I am actively trying to delete my Dropbox account. I am following all the steps required, but when I enter my password, fill out the form to delete it and click on the final button, I encounter an « Oops something went wrong (Error 500 » page and my account is not deleted.

    I have tried many times on Desktop and mobile. I just don’t know what to do to delete my account anymore as it is clearly not working.

    Can anyone help me to do so?

      Hey Samanthaar, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

       

      Have you perhaps tried using a different browser or a private browsing window, to see if that helps?

       

      Let me know how it goes and we'll go from there.

        I have tried on both Google and Safari and I still get this message every time I try to delete my account :

        « Error (500)
        Something went wrong. Don't worry, your files are still safe and the Dropbox team has been notified. Check out our Status Page to see if there is a known incident, our Help Center and forums for help, or head back to home. »

        This is very annoying as I have been trying for days, without being able to succeed.

        Hi tazz123 & Jazz1f, happy Friday! 

         

        Can you please try a private browsing window without any extensions or plugins running and let us know if you notice any difference? 

         

        If I were you, I'd also try clearing my browser's cache, then try again.

         

        Let me know of any updates!

    Could you please try clearing your browser's cache or another browser and let me know if this persists?

    I receive an
