Files disappearing, even though I didn't delete them

I had some video files disappear about a year ago and was sure I didn’t delete them but assumed maybe I did. Now, I find a bunch of my audio files are gone. There’s literally nothing in multiple ...

    Dropbox doesnt delete things on its own, no, it also doesnt even delete if you are over quota. 

    Can you look at www.dropbox.com/events and see what it shows about those files?

    It only goes back so many months. If I'd have known about that link previously, it would've solved the case I'm sure. Thanks for showing me that option.
