Garageband project. How to get the app to read the content?
I have had my garageband files saved in my Music folder on my mac, and that one was synced to Dropbox.
I retreived some files that were deleted accidentaly but Garageband couldn't read them. Garageband wants to see a "Bundle", but sees a document instead. I searched all over the net, but no answer, this is a pretty grim problem.
Change document to bundle, change garageband document type, well, I tried every wording.
So, to get the file back even if it is saved by garageband properly and Garageband can't read it this is the fix:
1. Change the file extension to ".zip"
2. Double click the file
3 You have your file back. The otiginal filename is gone, but that's a small price to pay!

Yes, and it was originally asked by another user, and I couldn't post to that thread, so I created a new one. The solution I found was nowhere on the internet, so it's good to put it out there 🙂
