How can I find a file I renamed or deleted and recover it?

I lost a text file that I had in dropbox, looking for solutions I think I may have accidentally renamed it and modified it later. Is it possible to recover the original file?

  • Hi sano23, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

It should be possible to locate and recover the file, depending on what was done to it, via the events page, or the deleted files page.

You can recover the version history of the file, or restore it if it was deleted.

If you need any further assistance, please let me know!
