The text disappears from my search bar on the website while I'm typing.

Using the site version - the text I enter will disappear halfway through what I'm typing and I have to clear out the bar and start over.  Happens to every user on my team and did not used to be like this.

Really annoying and time consuming to do everything twice.  Not sure what caused the behavior change but please fix this issue.

    I did that and the problem persists.  Yes all of my team members are experiencing the same issue.

    Of course the error does not occur when using the Capture tool but I assure you this is affecting me and my entire team of 9 users.  When you type quickly into the search bar the first few letters or word will appear then vanish and we need to click the search bar again to delete the partial words or fill in the words that vanished. 

    Has been happening for weeks and finally got to the point where we grew frustrated enough to reach out.  Whatever the Capture tool does to the browser seems to fix it as I can't get it to reproduce...like taking your car to the shop for a funny noise and then the car stops making the noise...thank you.

        Thanks for the screen recording, epco! Appreciate it. 

        I’ve removed the shared link from the forum, so that it doesn’t cause any possible issues with your account’s daily bandwidth, but I understand what you see indeed. 

        As an extra test, I’d like you to clear your Chrome browser’s cookies and cache and disable any add-ons/extensions.

        Are all of your team members experiencing this on different browsers, as well? 

        Since this is an odd issue indeed, I’d like us to isolate it as much as possible and see what may be happening.

    I'd need to use the video grab tool to show you as I can't screen grab it while typing.

    It occurs with updated Chrome browser and Incognito Chrome.  

    If you can send me the video grab link I'll upload - I don't have it on this PC.

      I understand. You can try and use our Dropbox Capture tool then to record what’s happening on your web account and send it to me here. 

      Just make sure there isn’t any personal kind of info visible in it, if possible.

    Thanks for reporting this on the forum, epco.

    Out of curiosity, is this something that’s happening across different browsers? If you haven’t tried an incognito/private window yet, please give that a go too and let me know what you see there.

    Other than that, I’d like a few screenshots showing what you see exactly while using the search bar, so that I can have a visual and investigate further, if the issue keeps persisting.

    Let me know once you have more updates on this.
