Are some files types not allowed on Dropbox?
I have found that Dropbox will not accept all types of files whereas GOOGLE drive will. Are you going to fix that or do I discontinue my subscription?

Hi Glenn Dickson @, thanks for messaging the Community.
Could you clarify this in more detail? There aren't any restrictions on the types of files you can store on your Dropbox account.
Any other info would be helpful!

I too have an issue with Dropbox not allowing me to upload SOME .docs files and SOME .xlsx files. For no apparent reason. It even tells me that a .docx file cannot be uploaded even when there is no .docx file within the folder I am trying to upload. This is unacceptable.

Hey there, Ron-TGG, I hope you're doing well!
Can you clarify which one of our platforms you use, when trying to upload the content? Is it the web, desktop or mobile app?
Do you happen to have a screenshot of the error message you get when this happens?
Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!

Windows 11, MS Edge, web. There isn't even a .docx file within that folder!
