Auto upload folder

Hi all,
I'd like to set up a folder on my android device so that it's content is automatically uploaded to a specific folder in my Dropbox.
The camera upload doesn't fit my purpose as it is specifically for pictures and it doesn't let me choose the destination folder.
To be clear I'd like to select a folder from the file system of my android device like for example:
/storage/emulated/0/Documents/AutoUpload

And I'd like it's content to be automatically uploaded to a folder that I can select no matter of the file type.
Further more it would be great if the files are deleted after successful upload.
Any help is appreciated 🙂

Hi there Stickerl - thanks for posting on our Community!

I'm afraid this isn't possible at this time, but thanks for sharing your thoughts on this with us.

I've noted your feedback down in our system and you can let us know if you have anything else to add.

I'll also leave this thread open for other users to jump in, in case they have something else to offer.

      Hi @Walter,
      thanks for the quick Response!
I suggest having a Look at the nextcloud App ad they provide this feature.
From my point of view this is on if the most basic functionalities and I don't get why there is some high level feature like camera upload with automatic file conversion and stuff but nothing like I described.
I feel like Dropbox tried to make it user friendly but after all it's just restricting and doesn't fit at least my use case...
Seems like most companies nowadays think users are incapable of dealing with a file system or other basic stuff.

Hope this feedback helps to improve Dropbox!
In my case I unfortunately have to find an alternative...
