Camera Upload Files are not being Saved Automatically to my Computer(s)

I've used DB for over a decade, so I know what I am doing.  With each new phone, I install db and turn on camera uploads.  From then on, every pic or vid I take, the file is first clouded and is then downloaded to each computer on which I have the db app installed.

One day recently, however, it just stopped.

I have plenty of storage in/on both my db account and on the HDDs on my computers.

Can someone please let me know what is going on.

    Hey mark k., I'm assuming you missed Megan's reply to you above, so please make sure to check it and reply to her questions.

    Specifically, let us know the sync status and version of the Dropbox app installed on your computer(s).

    Do you have issues with other files syncing from the website to your computers other than Camera Uploads?

    Thanks and please let's continue this conversation in a professional manner, so we can get to the bottom of the issue as quickly as possible.

    Hey Cococat101 - did you try turning off and back on the camera uploads feature as Hannah suggested?

    Looks like a reboot of all of my devices did the trick.  Thank you for your help, and my apologies once again.

    Sorry, I thought I was clear.  Yes, they upload to the cloud from my Android, but they do NOT automatically download to my computer(s) [PCs].

    It seems like you did not read my message, Hannah.  Not everyone is a dumb user who you can simply discard as stupid.

    Let's see if we can locate where the issue is.

    Are Camera Uploads files uploading to your account online and not on your computers?

    Or are they not uploading to your account at all?

    Does syncing work on your computers otherwise?

    Let me know and we'll go from there.

      Sorry, I thought I was clear.  Yes, they upload to the cloud from my Android, but they do NOT automatically download to my computer(s) [PCs].

        Hey mark k. let me jump in here too!

        Would you mind checking the app's preferences, and specifically your Backup tab to see if camera uploads are enabled there? 

        Also, please hover your mouse over the little Dropbox icon on your taskbar, next to your WiFi and let me know the version of the app that you're using, and its syncing status

      Hi Hannah. I'm jumping in on this post as I have a similar problem. My photos used to automatically back up from my phone/tablet to Camera Uploads in my DB account but have not done so since Nov 24. Not syncing with app or computer. Nothing has changed in my phone settings as far as I can see

        Hey Cococat101, sorry to hear that.

        Do your Camera Uploads files appear in your account online?

        If not even there, can you turn Camera Uploads off and then on again, to see if that helps?

        Restarting your device should also help.
