Drop the Link
When I create a link to a video to use on social media, the users go to a pop-up which suggests the download the Dropbox app to see the video. Way down at the bottom after a bunch of words, there is a message that they can go directly to the video by seeing it on a website. I want the option to skip the pop-up and go directly to the video. I have had many users tell me they couldn't see the video. Your average user doesn't read through a whole bunch of words and get to the bottom of the page before they see the link. And, the link is actually not very clear. These users don't want the Dropbox app on their phone. If they did, they would already have it. I pay for this service and I would rather not have what is an essence an advertisement keep people from being able to see the videos I post.

Hey ewyrick, thanks for posting on our Community.
Have you considered using these steps to force the recipients' browsers to render a file instead of downloading it?
Let me know if that would do the trick for you.
