File Request links are unreliable as they fail when others upload files
I find drop box incredibly unreliable for transferring files. It's almost unusable with the web version.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
The main issue I have is i have provided a Dropbox File Request link to a friend. They need to upload files for me each week. They use a web browser on their windows laptop. It almost always fails and they have to take 4 or 5 attempts and loads of wasted time, They have have a basic drop box account so dont seem able to use the drop box windows app.
Is there anyway to get this to work or am i better just switching to wetransfer which has always been very reliable. We are both wasting so much time with dropbox each week. Life is too short!

Yes, I am having this problem too. File Request folders used to work great, but now others are having trouble uploading and when I test it I am getting a "you don't have access" screen when I try to access the link in a new browser. It's incredibly frustrating for everyone involved.
Shared folders doesn't work as it maxes out the space on the collaborators accounts. I pay for DB every month so that uploads are smooth and easy and now it's just a headache. No one has this kind of time to waste.
Please fix.- Hannah

Hey LicityCollins, sorry to hear about this.
Have you noticed if this happens only with specific people or with all your recipients?
Do you have a screenshot of the error, so we can have a visual?

We've been using it very week for last two months. 10 - 15 files (total 5gb to 10gb). Reasonable internet connection. It's consistently unreliable.

I have to say I've never ever had issues with file uploads, the only issues I've had is that people cannot sometimes work out how to upload. The other thing is that they sometimes fail if the files are very large or there internet is not the best.
I have a set of file uploads that I created years ago and still work fine.
