Files and Folders show up online but not in Windows File Explorer
I have a shared folder that I can see only by using my web browser, and it doesn't show up in Windows File Explorer. I have another shared folder that shows up in Windows File Explorer, but most of the files are missing. I got the person who shared the folders with me to delete them and create new ones. The new ones have the same problems.
How do I fix this?
Hi Hannah,
This was actually the solution. I eliminated all the colons, and the files appeared.

I should add: I have several computers with dropbox installed. I get the identical problem on all of them.

Hey Jimmyblacksmith, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Is it possible that the folders and files in question contain any of the incompatible characters in this article?
And if so, do they sync if you rename the files to remove these characters?
Let me know how it goes.
