Files not showing in the desktop app on Windows. What can I do?
This is a new issue. Some files now, are not showing in my desktop app that had previously been available (via the app). Note, please, that I have selected which files I want to live on my PC via the preferences and selective synch feature, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app to my PC but no avail. This is not making sense and is getting entirely frustrating as I am under pressures of work to be efficient which this cloud based platform has proven to not be.
Hey JStak, can you also share the app's syncing status with me?
Is it possible that the files/folders you can't see locally have some invalid characters that prevent them from syncing?

Hey JStak, I hope you're doing well!
Would you like to share some additional info with me, in order to get the full visual of what you're talking about?
I'd love to know when this first started, your device's OS and the version of the Dropbox app that you're using there.
If you have any other info to share, feel free.
Waiting for your updates!

This first began maybe a couple weeks ago. Files seemed to have disappeared from the app. I am operating Windows 11 and Dropbox v205.4.5765. Not sure if that is the correct information you're requesting.
From the Dropbox app taskbar when I right-click & ask to show the file in File Explorer it opens the file in the web browser, not in File Explorer.
Hope this helps
