Folder appears empty

Is there any way to get access to an expired link?

I had gotten a disposable camera processed a year ago and have tried to access the Dropbox link from my emails, however, no matter the browser or device it always says the folder is empty even though it should have at least 25 photos in it.

Has anyone experienced this issue before?

The company I got the photos processed with have lost the film roll and wondering how I can gain access to these photos

If that is the case, then it sounds like there could be a few possibilities here, Either the files were deleted from the linked folder on their account, or they weren't uploaded in the first place to that link and you were given the wrong shared link to the folder.

Without the original owner of the shared link to provide you with the images, it wouldn't be possible to recover them. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful on this matter.

Hi Milesprpic, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Does the link load normally on the Dropbox site, or do you get an error message? Was the link always empty when you opened it on the Dropbox site?

Have you tried contacting the company to ensure that they sent you the correct link, or that they haven't deleted the files in that link?

This will help me to assist further!

The link loads and takes me to the attached folder displayed on the email, it just says the folder is empty. Unfortunately I’ve tried contacting the previous owners but he has retired.
