How can I best go about moving Google photos to Dropbox?
Now that I have re-signed with Dropbox, how can I move my Google photo's into my Dropbox
- 7 years agoYou'll need to download them to a device first before re-uploading to Dropbox I'm afraid.
I'm not aware of any transfer tools which will do it for you

A google search yielded this result https://www.multcloud.com/tutorials/sync-google-photos-to-dropbox-6289.html I have no personal knowledge of it and its use.
However, I would personally use the download to your computer and then upload via the Dropbox client just as Mark mentioned. Its robust and can make sure you don't loose data during the transfer.
Make sure you keep a back up of your data, till you are sure it all transferred completely. Research, and make sure the above meets your requirements and can do what you wish. It may require a paid plan, which is why I also suggest the download and upload via the Dropbox client.

When you say to download the Google photos to your computer, what does that mean? Do I have to go into each photo in Google Photos and download it individually to my desktop? And then move all of them to Dropbox? Isn't there a way to mass copy the files so I can grab them and move copies to Dropbox?
- Mark7 years agoSuper User IIAs for mass downloading you need to ask Google I'm afraid, but yes, ultimately you need to download from Google to them reupload to Dropbox.
