Hi Dropbox Community, I’m reaching out as a long-time Dropbox user of over 10 years, and I’m currently in a tough situation. Yesterday, I received a message saying, "We’ve interrupted your sharing activity because your files might contain phishing content," - I cannot share ANY folders or files and this is really going to impact my small business. I rely heavily on Dropbox to share essential documents like PDFs, Word files, and Excel spreadsheets with my clients DAILY. This interruption has left me unable to collaborate, and it will undoubtedly cause many embarrassing moments. I’m worried it will make me look unreliable to my clients, which is definitely not the impression I want to give. The potential effect on my business and income is quite concerning. I appreciate all of Dropbox's security measures, but I’m reaching out to see if anyone here has faced a similar issue or has advice on how to resolve this quickly. Restoring my file-sharing capabilities is critical for my operations. Thank you for any help or insights you can provide!152Views0likes1CommentQR CODE DIRECT LINKS....
QR CODES! Hi there - - wondering if there will be a way to easily create and direct with a qrcode into a dropbox folder? I am creating multiple promo and other videos - and will be using QR codes for events, etc - and prefer to keep everything in dropbox - the other options require giving the materials shared to another source, etc - - so it would be great!!! thanks!Solved20KViews1like13CommentsHow do I keep the contents of a shared folder when I'm removed from the folder?

Hello, I’m currently on Dropbox Basic (Free) with a total of 8.5 GB of storage. I use Dropbox primarily for my business and recently set up a shared folder specifically for our social media manager, who has edit access. Her role involves uploading, downloading, and managing digital content for our marketing efforts, and I gave her Can Edit permissions, expecting that she could fully collaborate within this folder without needing her own storage space. However, we’re encountering issues. She’s been getting messages suggesting that she needs to upgrade her account to access the folder fully. Initially, she received an error stating that “access through the links requires an upgrade.” She temporarily upgraded to a 30-day free trial, which resolved the access issue, but ideally, we’d like to keep both our accounts on the Basic plan. My understanding was that as long as I have enough space on my account, any content shared within this folder would be covered by my storage capacity, not requiring her to have additional storage on her end. Questions: 1.Is there a way to allow her to upload, download, and edit files without her needing additional storage or an upgraded account? 2.Are there specific sharing settings I should adjust so she can manage files within my storage limits? 3.Would sharing a link instead of an “invite to edit” resolve these storage-related prompts, or does it limit collaboration capabilities? Thank you for any insights on how I might be able to set this up efficiently on a Dropbox Basic plan!Solved543Views0likes1CommentHow can I share folders with people outside my team?
