How to show a folder for team members in file explorer
Hi all, I promise I have been trying to figure this out from the community, but still can't work it out.
A project folder was moved from one location in File Explorer to the other - all good and was fine last time I checked. Someone has since renamed it, but again, seemed to be all good.
Now no one in the team (12 of us) can find it on File Explorer - it's disappeared and no one knows why and is worried it's been deleted. I thought let me have a look on Dropbox to see if it's still there - it iss. Phew. But now I can't work out how to get it back.
A normal project folder which we can all see looks like this in Dropbox on the 'who can access / modified' side:
The problem folder has the above 3rd icon missing 'open in file explorer':
Any help appreciated, thank you!

Hey there sarah35GS - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
If you've ensured that the Dropbox desktop app is 'up to date' and not still syncing, could you have a look at your selective sync settings in the app's preferences and let us know if you can find the folder there?
Otherwise, you can rename it on the website and try again.
Let me know of any updates!

Thanks Walter. I've gone through the steps - hadn't know about selective sync so that's useful to know.
Unfortunately it didn't help get the folder onto my (or my teams) computers / file explorer. The folder was ticked to show it should live on the computer alongside the others. It is still sitting next to the others on Dropbox online, but still not on file explorer which is frustrating for everyone as they're starting to manually download folders and save them in other places so they can edit, which is not what we want.
I unselected the folder and updated, and then selected it again to see if that would kick it back onto file explorer but it's made no difference.
Any other tips? Is there a Dropbox UK helpline that I can ring so someone can remote onto my computer and take a look?
Thanks

Have you tried to rename the folder on the Dropbox website, making sure to avoid using any incompatible characters?
