I upload my files to Dropbox, but they expire.

Dropbox has been causing me quite a bit of stress recently.  it has quit synching to my Mac, but please don't bother addressing that issue, which takes countless hours to change and then, one day stops synching --- just don't have the time to spend.

I'm trying to get some files rescued and saved in Dropbox, it is creating an expiration date on my file.  I tried just deleting the date, but that didn't work. These are not files that I am sharing with anyone. A search on that issue came up with the fact that shared files don't expire. I could create a fake share by adding an additional email of mine-- if that's a workaround please let me know.

Welcome back to the forum, LilyMuseic. Let’s have a look.

Saving a file to your Dropbox account shouldn’t come with an expiration date.

Can you walk me through the steps you're taking to save your files to Dropbox?

I'd also like a screenshot of what you see exactly when trying to change/disable the expiration date you mention. You can attach it here with this button:

Ping me when you have more info.
