Is there a way to recover files from a link created by someone who has passed away?
I doubt very much that there is but, is there any way to access a Drop Box account of someone that has recently died without a password? 2 years ago, my sister-in-law took many photo's at my son's we...

Hi there, MotherOfTheGroom, and sorry to hear about your loss.
You mentioned that you still have the shared link; what do you see, when you click on it?
I ask, because if the files are still in the account, you should still be able to access them from the link.
Regarding the account itself, do you perhaps have access to the email associated with the account?
Let me know and we'll go from there!

I have an email address that was used by my sister-in-law, but whether it was used to set up her account, I'm not sure.
I can't remember what the link looked like when it was first shared that no one was able to access at the time, but currently it says " That didn't work for some reason
If it's a fluke, it might work if you refresh the page. You can also ask us for help. "
