Is there a way to recover files from a link created by someone who has passed away?
I doubt very much that there is but, is there any way to access a Drop Box account of someone that has recently died without a password? 2 years ago, my sister-in-law took many photo's at my son's we...

How long ago did she pass? The reason I ask is that whole accounts are wiped after 12 months of inactivity meaning if nobody was logging on in that time the data would be wiped which is irreversible.

She passed away the middle of July 2023.

It might be possible that the account has been deleted, due to inactivity.
I would suggest opening a private browsing window and going to this page.
From there, you can create a ticket with our support team, who will be able to get to the bottom of this and will let you know if there's something that can be done.
