link generates error (400), but copy-paste works
I have sent an email containing a view-only link to a folder that I own. When a recipient clicks the link, they get error (400) but if they copy and paste the link into their browser, the link takes ...

I think I figured out the problem - I'm trying to send the link through Meetup.com messaging, and looking at the link, it's munging the link.

3 days agoThe email client is doing something dodgy to the link - possibly breaking it across multiple lines in this case.
As you can get the link to work on a copy/paste the link is active its just the code behind it that is, well, dodgy!
If it happens again next time try sending the emails to Support via www.dropbox.com/support but I'd say its an issue with there email software :)
