paper file extension
Good! I would like to know what the .paper extension that is created in the windows registry is when the dropbox is installed. regards

Checking with filetypesman of nirsoft, i see this extension of dropbox
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Dropbox\Client\Dropbox.exe" /openext "%1" %*

Thanks for that jplopezy but I still need more information.
What's the exact status of the desktop app on your computer to begin with and which version of our desktop app are you using? It's currently on 72.4.136 for the stable version while the most recent beta version is 73.3.100.
In addition, if we don't get a concrete view of the matter here, would it be OK with you if I reached out via email to your Dropbox associated address so we can have a further look into this?

The version is "72.4.136".
The dropbox installer creates that extensions in my system for some reason.
It must have some use but I do not know it.
