Phone number for technical support
I am having ongoing issues trying to get my Dropbox files to sync with my desktop. I am probably a few months behind on files on my desktop as this computer had to be taken to IT for some repairs. I left it running for more than 24 hours and it's just not working right. I have followed all of the troubleshooting guides online. Does anyone have a phone number so I can actually talk to someone from Dropbox?

Every Dropbox user can reach our Support team by submitting a ticket support request at www.dropbox.com/support .
Replies take approximately 1 - 3 business days with Business and Pro users getting priority (longer for Basic users).
Dropbox offers tech support over the phone for Dropbox Business teams on an Advanced or Enterprise plan .
However, for security reasons Dropbox can only provide phone tech support to admins of these teams.
We take security seriously, and work hard to ensure your files and accounts remain safe. This is the reason our phone number is not publically displaye. We require account verification in order to ensure that we're providing support to an authorized admin. This account verification is only available via the admin console.
If you find a Dropbox tech support phone number on a search engine or elsewhere that claims to lead to Dropbox support, it is not affiliated with Dropbox. Dropbox does not offer phone support other than what is described in this article. Be careful to avoid scams or other attempts to capture your account data.

I had an old Dropbox account on my PC that was linked through my old cellphone. When I got a new cellphone I downloaded the Dropbox App from Google store, and installed the 'updated' version on my PC. It asked about the old version photo files - I thought it would automatically download them into this 'new' version. THEY ARE GONE! I'm talking about photos of my dad, who passed away, and other photos that I can never get back. They are not in the Recycle Bin, either. Anyone know how I can retrieve them???

Unfortunately they are only recoverable for 30 days.
And, are you sure you've not actually set up a second account?

Mark Mc - It is a new account - I actually seem to have accounts for both of my email addresses (yahoo), but when I downloaded Dropbox years ago, I used my gmail account. I tried the link you gave me, but it says that I have NO deleted files. My old Dropbox (cellphone camera uploads) was there yesterday. I am just trying to move the cellphone photos onto the PC using Dropbox, the way I was able to with my previous cellphone account.

I wanna tell you that I just missing my videos which Is for YouTube .And I really pissed off bcs it was gone idk where .First I really trust that if my videos saved in Dropbox it'll be safe but it's not . My file also missed in my pc ,not all .I Also have pictures that I saved in same day with my video but the picture are not missing .Why it only happened to my videos ? Anyone can help me ? Btw I'm using Windows 10

I have accidentally deleted many photos from my Dropbox on my PC after uploading them from my iPhone 6. I have gone through the loops on the website and can find no deletion event for this on 1/17/2016. I'm hoping Dropbox has a magic cloud record of the upload. I took my pic to tech expert and they said all the files were over written. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. I have Dropbox Pro.

Recently, when I pull up my PDF files I can no longer just scroll through the pages without having to pull up all the pages to select page two, as an example. Both Word and PDF files used to allow this. Has something changed with PDF files? Or, is there a setting I am unaware of? Thx, Rich

John - thats something you need to ask whomever manufactures the OS for your phone.
I suggest using google to do so.

Question I have about 3k of files that got deleted from my basic dropbox account. all the folders are there but all the files in the nested folders are gone. I have summited a request about 3 days ago and checked the ticket system and it says waiting for agent to be assigned.
I'm wondering if I was to try the business version. would that speed things up or would the upgrade in my account status screw that up?

It wouldnt speed it up, no, as your ticket is already in the support queue assigned to whatever account level you are in.
You would need to upgrade, close your ticket and re-open a new one to benefit from it.
