Potentially GBs of files lost: Dropbox not syncing fully

I have syncing issue where DB is constantly in syncing mode. Per community advice, I unliked my account and reinstalled DB. Connected everything. It reindexed all files and synced, took n...
Old files are stored in [mac user]/Library/CloudStorage/Dropbox [2023-10-28- 10/32pm]/ [my folders and files] as a backup.
All my files (new/old) seem to be now located at CloudStorage / Dropbox / [my folders and files]
Update: DB is no longer stuck in syncing.
Is it safe to remove the dated folder in CloudStorage directory? Very confused.

Hey there Adobe - sorry to hear about this.
Could you clarify if the app is 'up to date' or still syncing your files by any chance?
If it is up to date and indeed, you should be safe to delete the time-stamped backup.

Yes, syncing is all is up to date!
