stuck at syncing

Been stuck on Synching for hours not, seems to be doing nothing..  rebooted and dropbox comes right back to synching....  see photo

  • Thanks,  it just says "Syncing", no files or number of files.... When I first upgraded it said Syncing 200,000 files or so and then went down to 0 for hours, then it said "indexing" for a while... now it just says "syncing" with no files nothing else...  I'll let it run all night and see what the morning brings....  I did upload a few photos 45 minutes ago and they uploaded no issues...  See attached

Oh CRAP!!!  As I'm writing this message I got this message:

     AND..... the syncing finished....  LOL

Looks like I just needed a few more hours of patience..... 🙂

    Thanks for you immediate help!!!

    🙂

Hi KateRobert, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Could you confirm where your Dropbox folder is currently located on your machine?

This will help me to assist further!

I did the upgrade to the new MacOS dropbox today (the one where Vault is no longer available (only on cloud)).  It took a long time to synch files as expected but then got stuck after 8 hours or so at "Synching".
