Thanks, Nancy. In Finder [on my MAC, the folder looks like this [attached image]. I believe the cloud icon next to the folder indicates it is "online only," right? For whatever reason, the Dropbox icon in the top right menubar of my MAC does not appear to be up-to-date, however.
Thanks for that! From your screenshot, it looks like you’re seeing this syncing icon. Since your Dropbox folder is under Locations, it seems that you’re currently running the Dropbox app on File Provider.
Can you clarify what you see as the app’s syncing status though?
Thx again, Nancy-
This screen shot is from the tiny DropBox icon in the top menu bar. It shows "Indexing
however, the files are not up to date based on what was worked on in DropBox. And, I do not believe I have seen any other mode than "indexing"
Hey admakr, I hope you don't mind me jumping in here as well.
If the Dropbox app is indexing, it might be that it was only recently updated to the Dropbox for macOS on File Provider version, is that right?
How long has it been since it's been indexing?
Have you restarted your computer at all, to see if that helps?
Hi, Hannah- Indexing is all that I ever see. To my knowledge, I do not think I did any updates to the last Dropbox that was installed on my MacBook Pro. After restarting, all is the same.
