Update the Dropbox Linux client to have similar features as Windows, MacOS

Why is there no updated Linux client for so long? The software doesn't offer online only options - I have an iMac and a Windows PC which can have adequate storage and can store online only, yet the Linux client has not had an update in a number of years.

Is there a reason somewhere, as a paying client it would be really useful to know.

Hi soulchip, thanks for dropping by our Community to share your thoughts on this and happy 2023!

I just wanted to mention that your feedback has been noted in our system.

As for reducing the hard drive space used on your Linux device, you can use selective sync instead of online only files.

Please let me know if you have anything else to add.

The software doesn't offer online only options on Linux

The problem is, the Linux client has not had an update in a number of years.

Since I am a paying user, with a Dropbox Plus account, I would really like this feature to be implemented for my operating system as well. If this is not possible, I think of migrating to the MEGA Box.
