The problem with the proposed solution of moving them to an unsynchronized folder is that sometimes I might want to access them on the mobile device. If the folder is unsynchronized then - correct me if I'm wrong - I won't be able to download the individual file, without first resyncing the folder, and then waiting while dropbox downloads every file in that folder. When all I wanted was that one file. I don't have time to wait for dropbox to download the entire folder. I want dropbox to store a list of the files in the folder, and let me choose to download some of them when I need them.
