incorrect storage amount

Dropbox was claiming I had used 11GB out of 10GB of storage available. I removed a large portion to bring it down to 9GB and then another portion to bring it under 7GB, after I removed these files, it claimed I was at 16gb out of 10 GB of storage.

SO to try to trigger a reset, I removed all the files except a folder with less than 1 MB worth of data in it and not it is 10.3 GB of 10 GB storage. I've never had this issue before... Please help. The smallest files I have are now unavailable to sync because of this huge error

Do you have the backup feature enabled? Any backups saved? What does your Plan page show for your usage breakdown?

Looks like I must have backed up a device unknowingly...

I don't even have a 10GB device so it is strange but deleting this USB device resolved my issue.

      Thank you so much!

I'll be bookmarking this backup link for future reference.
