No bonus space after successful referral

No punctuation issues. No gmail vs googlemail. Indeed she has only 2GB of space, without the 250MB. 
What to do now to resolve this?

    Hopefully somebody from Dropbox will see it tomorrow and may be able to help.

    Referral space isn't guaranteed unfortunately though.
