Where are the files that are using up my storage space?
Hello,
My Dropbox account says I am over my storage limit; however, I don't see anything that's taking up the storage space. I previously had this account connected to a website with the Updraf...

I keep getting a message from Dropbox that I am using 2.02 GB of storage for my basic plan but I only have two folders that an organization shares with me and it doesn't come close to 2.02 GB. I have been trying to get help to see what is in my plan so I know what is causing me to be over the limit. I don't want to pay for a storage solution when I don't usually use Dropbox except to see these documents posted by an organization.
I can't figure out who to talk to - not even a chatbot.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hey carolynpenn, thanks for reaching out to us.
You can see how much space you're using and what kind of files are taking up your space in your plan page here.
If it's not the shared files that you mentioned, is it possible that it's backup files that are using your space?
Let me know what you find.

Thank you so much. It is all backup files. How do I get rid of that? I don't see if on my usual screen and I have been dealing with this issue for months.
I don't need the backup.

No problem, Carolyn!
Do you have access to the backed up device?
You can disable the backup, by following these steps.
I hope this helps!
