I received an email from Dropbox asking me to invite someone to Dropbox and get the additional storage, and my friend started using the app but didn’t get the storage also him?

What is www.dropbox.com/referral_status showing?
Note that you have to have sent him a referral AND he has to install it on to a unique computer - mobile devices do not count.

- Alkady2 years agoExplorer | Level 4"I don't have any other explanation except that it's a cheap marketing tactic when a company sends you an email asking you to invite a friend and promises increased storage. Then they manipulate the situation, placing obstacles in front of you to absolve themselves and make you believe it's your fault for not getting the increased space. I work as a journalist for the official newspaper, and we will be discussing these behaviors as a main topic on our work agenda."
