Referral related issue

hi, when I share referral link to my friends or invite them to join dropbox for extra 500mb it says too many attempts , what can I do

      Hi umi1, this could mean that too many attempts have been made to create an account with that email address or from the same location.

        Jay  My friend just create a new email on new device and tried signing up using my shared referral link, it still says the same on his new device. What are we doing wrong here?

      Hey umi1, is this new computer connected to the same network? If so, can they try from a different one?

        May be that is the issue I'll  try  on different network.
