Can this app be used on my Android phone in 2025?

I need all the help I can get. Can someone answer this question. I have a android phone Galaxy A53 5G that I bought 2022-2023. I have alot of videos on there that my phone storage can no longer maintain. No I can't use the ones from Google they only do photos. Also I have don't have an computer at all only my phone. I'm trying to be a new upcoming  youtuber. So yes I will be making alot of videos. Will this app work for me or not? I haven't used this app before this so I really don't know? Someone please help?

Also I haven't seen anything on here that says they you can store videos so far it says on this website that you can only store photos. Can you direct me to where it says that you store videos?

Hey umulligan, I can reassure you there are no restrictions on the types of files you can store in Dropbox.

Also, I'm not sure if you're referring to your phone's storage, or your Dropbox quota. Would you mind clarifying?

The problem is that my storage is already used up I was looking for a backup to store the rest of my videos on. If my account storage was enough I would just use my phones account storage.

Hi umulligan, welcome to our Community!

Just to make sure we're aligned here: you wish to download and install our mobile app, in order to then store your videos in Dropbox, right?

I don't see a reason as to why this wouldn't work for you. As long as the content you wish to upload don't exceed your account's storage, you should be good to go.

Also, if you wish to get to know Dropbox a little bit more here are some helpful ways to do it.

In any case, I'm here for any questions you might have. Thanks!
