Hi Megan,
I have uninstalled and uploaded the Dropbox app again. It seems to be working now.
But if the issue starts again, I will try your suggestion of an advanced install.
Hopefully, it will all work well this time.
Thanks for your help! Much appreciated..

Hi HerbalTea,
Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:
- Restart Your Computer:
- Check for Windows Updates:
- Make sure your Windows 11 is up to date. Go to Settings > Windows Update and check for any pending updates.
- Update Dropbox:
- Download the most recent version from the Dropbox website.
- Reinstall Dropbox:
- Uninstall Dropbox completely:
- Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features and find Dropbox. Click on it and select Uninstall.
- After uninstalling, restart your computer.
- Reinstall Dropbox by downloading the latest version from the website.
- Check for Conflicting Software:
- Sometimes, other applications can interfere with Dropbox. Check if any recently installed software might be causing conflicts, particularly security or backup software.
- Run Dropbox as Administrator:
- Right-click on the Dropbox icon and select Run as administrator. This can sometimes help with permissions-related issues.
- Check Event Viewer:
- If the issue persists, you can check the Windows Event Viewer for any error messages related to Dropbox. This might give you more insight into what’s going wrong.
If none of these steps work, you may want to reach out to Dropbox Support for more specific assistance.
