Do you mean that you're using the Backup feature to back up an external drive to your Dropbox account (which would be visible on this page), or do you mean that you had Dropbox installed and your Dropbox folder (where your synced data lives) was on your D drive?
If your local Dropbox folder was on your D drive and that drive is no in the new computer, you should be able to point Dropbox to it so you can resume syncing the same files. During the installation of the Dropbox application there's an Advanced Options link that you can click on to specify the location of your Dropbox folder. If I remember correctly, this appears after you sign in during the install. Use that option and select the folder ABOVE your Dropbox folder. The installer should recognize that there's an existing Dropbox folder there and ask if you want to use it.
Note that if you directly select the Dropbox folder during the installation, you'll end up creating a new Dropbox folder inside your existing Dropbox folder. Make sure you select the folder above it, or the root of the drive if there are no other folders.
