Is Dropbox down today?
It was working fine and now my homepage won't load. Every time I go to click into the file it keeps saying, "something is wrong" and not opening/
Not good when I have a dissertation due next week!!!

@Manuel - is your computer offline or Dropbox only? Is it accessible from another network? 3g/4g on your mobile device for instance?

Same here. Impossible to login via the website (error 500) and desktop client icon remains greyed out! Have files to forward urgently to a customer before EoD, that's pretty annoying, please fix/investigate quickly. :-(

From Dropbox status page:
We are aware of an issue currently affecting the Dropbox site. We have identified the cause, which was the result of an issue that arose during routine internal maintenance, and are working to fix this as soon as possible.
Same message they put out the last time.

We are trying to access our files we share with the Church and it is just spinning out giving us an Error 500 Code and it won't let us do anything. It's taken me 15 minutes to get here to this to post. Please Help!!!! Thanks!

As with the other posts from around the world in this time frame, I am encountering "Error 500" when I try to access DropBox. If the DropBox system has crashed it should notify its customers immediately to avoid further inconvenience, not mention waste of time and resources. Also, DropBox should immediately advise its customers of the status.

Apparently Dropbox said on Twitter that they are working on a fix, and the service will be up soon.
