I think I know the answer to this, but I'll ask anyway. On a Windows device, is there a text or log type file with the current sync issues for that device? I am an admin and trying to troubleshoot with remote users. As a first step, I would like to use my already installed remote management software to read a file that contains the current sync issues / status before starting a remote session with the user to troubleshoot. Does a file like that exist? I am thinking something in C:\Users\*\AppData\Local\Dropbox\sync.log. Any thoughts on if this exists or is feasible?

I'm afraid that neither a text nor a log file for sync issues exists within the Dropbox desktop app.
To view sync issues, you can click on the Dropbox icon in the system tray, then in your initials and then on "view sync issues", which is computer specific.

Hannah thank you. This would be a nice feature on the Business level where must users contact internal help desk first. I have been experiencing more support calls regarding sync issues. It would be nice to have some visibility into what the desktop app is seeing on the endpoint. Again, nothing fancy needed, just a log file.
