I just found that an App added a custom tag to that folder, the only way to see it was with right click -> Get Info and it was at the top, i removed that custom tag and the circle is gone.

I'll need a little more info — can you send the app version you're running?

Thank you, for replying, this is the dropbox version and also the sync status
I just got this new Mac mini m2, I'm in the process of adding all my apps, etc. From what I can tell, this is the only folder with that circle.
