The Dropbox folder does not appear in Locations on my Mac.
Hello:
- I am updated to the latest version of Dropbox with File Provider
- Dropbox works flawlessly when I find the Finder folder using the menu bar icon
- I can also find the Dropbox folder in ~/Library/CloudStorage/Dropbox, where it appears with a grey circle against it
- However, the Dropbox folder does NOT appear under Locations
- Finder Preferences have Cloud Storage ticked under Locations in Sidebar
- Unticking/ticking, rebooting, restarting Dropbox doesn not change this.
I'd love to get my Dropbox in the Locations bar where it should be. Any ideas?
Thanks
Jack

If you go to the directory that Dropbox is located in (so usually \Users\your name) and then just drag the Dropbox directory over to the side back on the Finder window that will put it there for you :)

Thanks Mark. But this puts it in Favourites, not in Locations. Why isn't it appearing as it should in Locations?
