- Thanks for the info. The Lenovo offer is only available for new Dropbox accounts, so if you signed into an existing account, then the promotional quota wouldn't be eligible for your account.

Thanks for the quick reply and for taking care of my problem.
After clicking on the promotion link found inside lenovo manager it downloaded a new Dropbox app onto my laptop and I logged in with my existing account.
I have activated a promotion from my Samsung phone which I think is still running as I still have 30gb.

I misunderstood the "new account" as a new install on a new device.
In this case I will simply open a new account and transfered everything.
