Is End to End encryption only on Business plans? Can I have a plan like that for 1 user only?
Hi, the end to end encryption is only available on the business plus. Can I create a business plus account as one member team? Or is there any plan where end to end encryption would be available?
Hi GaboBl, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Currently, you can only create a Dropbox team with a minimum of 3 licenses.
At this time, there aren't any other plans that contain end to end encryption.

I currently pay $220 a year for Dropbox Essentials with extra data storage. As much as it pains me, I was willing to take the plunge to increase that to $540+tax per year for 3 licenses of the Business plan, just to have the E2EE functionality that I now need for my small business.
When I switched to the trial version, however, I was shocked to discover that EVEN AT THAT PRICE, there is no E2EE available. One has to make the jump to the Business Plus plan, which includes a ton of stuff that I don't need, at a whopping $864+tax per year, to enjoy the benefit of E2EE on Dropbox.
I think that price is untenable for just the one added feature of E2EE. It certainly isn't justifiable for my small business. This now leaves me with the arduous task of finding a new cloud storage solution, and moving everything over to it; that is, unless Dropbox is planning to add E2EE capability to lower subscriptions within the next month. With the variety of E2EE cloud storage options available now, I don't understand why Dropbox wouldn't offer this on lower plans.
