Is there a cheaper plan than the Plus plan, that offers more space?
my question is:
Is there any plan that is even cheaper than the normal basic plan of 2000 tb? It happens that I want to have more storage space, but the cheapest plan is still quite expensive.
Is there an alternative storage plan, which is cheaper?
Hi wdshieh, if your account is eligible, you could upgrade to the Dropbox Basic Extra plan, which offers all the existing features on Basic, but with 50 GB of quota.

We are going to pay for a good service, but here even the cheapest plan is too expensive.
- AhmedsalahudinNew member | Level 2If u give 200gb only in 190 pkr or 0.65 dollar per month every small user will buy it and you will generate good revenue

買了Plus的2TB兩三年,
到現在還是只用到112GB,
所以希望能出更小容量500GB的客群做使用 - RAVIGOPALHelpful | Level 5I am a free member as of now. I keep receiving your upgrade plans starting with 2 TB. That is far beyond my lifetime requirement. I wonder why you don't introduce affordable plans for 500 GB and 1 TB. Individuals and SMEs require storage less than 1 TB. Please consider customer friendly packs.
Else I am happy with Google plans that allow me to scale up steadily.

Agree 100%. I am managing with 200 GB on Google as I have lots of images and videos besides documents.
I am tired of Dropbox's frequent reminders and aggressive sales pitch for 2/5 TB. My request for 500 GB seems to be falling on deaf ears.
If they want to stick to their 2/5TB upgrade offers then I will delete all my stuff and unsubscribe at the earliest.
What is also most annoying is that they think their Chatbot can handle all the queries a customer may have. They just don't have a human interface to respond to customer queries. I wish I could ask their Chatbot to provide me the storage space and I pay the Chatbot instead of Dropbox. 😡

Same.. I have used dropbox for 10 years, and right now I am looking to onedrive and google as I need more space.
I need 100gb... not 2tb! And the 2tb isn't even shareable, for that you need the 2tb family pack, over 200Euro / year..
I would gladly pay 2$ for 100gb or 5$ for 500gb package instead of going to other services.
Right Now I'm paing both Google and Microsoft to test them out. Still cheaper x)
- FfahrenheitExplorer | Level 4I do not need 2TB of cloud memory . eleven dollars per Month is too expensive . why don't you offer to 100GB for two bucks a month

Good afternoon.
I have the basic plan currently. I have enough storage with this plan, however I would like to use with more than 3 devices.
The dropbox plus is out of my budget plus I do not need 2TB of storage.
Is there an option/plan with access to more devices at a more reasonable price?

There isn't another plan, but you could subscribe to Plus for a month, add your other devices and then downgrade back to Basic. As long as you don't disconnect them, they will continue to sync.

Ok one other question. If I upgrade to plus and then downgrade to basic do I keep my additional earned storage. I have 10GB now and do not want to lose it.
Thanks

offer dynamic dataplan for users which are not willing to subscribe for the actual models, so they can subscribe for lower rates as well. starting at the basic plan.
- EarlyAdopterSteveExplorer | Level 4
Says I'm not currently eligible.
Now what? - JayDropbox Staff
If your account is eligible, there is the Basic Extra plan available for purchase.

Yes, I've been really frustrated that Dropbox's least expensive plan is $120 per year. I don't need 2 TB, and I definitely won't spend $120. Meanwhile, Google One offers 200 GB for $30 per year. Now THAT's something interesting, even though I'm not fond of the user experience with GoogleDrive. You can also get significant amounts of data, but fully end-to-end encrypted, with iDrive for much less than $120 per year. Again, I don't love their UI and the feature set is missing a couple fundamental things. But there's just no way I'm paying $120 per year.
Dropbox, when are you going to offer a decent plan for common folks...something like Google's 200 GB for $30 per year, and maybe some higher level for $50 or $60 per year (and allowing us to log in to the Dropbox application on more than the ridiculous 3 devices allowed by the free plan)???? C'mon, you're just being jerks at this point.
If some people need 2 TB, I admit $120 per year isn't a bad price. But so many of us DON'T need THAT much space, and also can't afford that price. So let's get real here.
- Bad CatNew member | Level 2I would suggest a new plan option
Something in the range of 10gb or something, or a dynamic plan that increases as the storage space you use increases
I would be willing to pay a couple bucks a month, but, for personal use, can’t justify $15-$30 a month - Khalil TabbaraNew member | Level 2As explained to me by your agent , When you upgrade to a yearly cycle on the Dropbox website, the pricing is much cost-effective for 12 months to when you upgrade to a monthly cycle for 12 months. For example, the yearly cycle would be CA$155.58 (CA$12.99*12 months) instead of CA$15.99.
That’s not what is understood when you accept the offer which mentions 2 months free ! I feel that’s not fair to advertise as such and it is misleading information just to attract customers! I request to get those two months free including the new rate ! So simple … - Smith NguyenNew member | Level 2
As a potential consumer, I give you feedback.
Your products provide good quality.I hope your company can offer 2-3 entry-level products with more favorable prices.
I expect you to provide 500 and 1000G specifications to reduce the product price.
OneDrive Home Edition offers 1TB*6 for approximately US$100(720RMB) in EU and USA and US$70 (498RMB) in China .
OneDrive person Edition 1TB US$55.(1) Consumer affordability and Price comparison
The starting 2TB space is not suitable for some persons, too much useless space.
At present, the price of your entry-level products is high for developing countries or economically sensitive people.
Some persons want 500GB, 1000GB or 250GB space (onedrive entry-level product 1000GB). Can you provide more product solutions with more specifications? For example, the product price is 300GB with 20 US dollars a year (OneDrive person Edition 1TB US$55).
(2) Years of usage and experience
Your trial is only one month long, so it has little promotional value because consumers can use it for too short a time.People need to use it for 2 years before they discover more features and good value.
You can even attach conditions that each person can only buy it for Max period (5 years), and after 5 years, the customer need to upgrade to a higher-level product.
