A connected external drive does not show up so that it can be selected for backup.
I'm running Windows 11
I have an external 4 terabyte external drive that is always connected.
I would like to setup "backup" for this drive by it does not show up in the selection list under "Manage Backups"
At one point a long time ago Dropbox asked me if I would like to setup backup for this drive and I said NO at that time.
I have not found any way to reverse that decision.
I suspect I might be able to relabel the drive but thats not really a solution I want to use,

Hi RaymondR, thanks for posting here!
Can I ask the capacity and the usage of your external disk, along with the format of it please?
Have you tried plugging it out, and then back in?
One more thing: can you clarify if the desktop app is running normally when you plug the external drive into the computer in question, and also let me know the version of the Dropbox app there?
Keep me posted!

I did a bunch of things and it finally showed up. Unfortunately I can't say which thing I did fixed it.
Among other things I
Relabelled the drive
Unplugged it and plugged it back in
Rebooted my machine
Shutdown and restarted Dropbox
Its a 4T drive
Its backing up now but has been running for 5 days and is less than half done.
