Windows 11 - Screenshots saving to dropbox but no longer to my screenshot folder after lappy crashed
Newbie here. My dearest tech gal friend Karen (BFF too genetic) who used to help me through these dilemmas passed during Covid but I do try to carry on as she taught me. Learning and searching an...

So it has been close to a week since I asked my question and well over two weeks trying to solve this issue including on my own, all to no avail.
Then
Yesterday My lappy says it need to shut down and reboot to correct an issue.
I'm thinking oh lordy it's going into it's death throes!
I agree to restart and it turns off and I go do chores and some of the dozens of things I needed to be doing . . .
It's probably an hour when I come back and attempt to log in.
Everything goes perfectly smoothly . . Out of curiosity I take a screen shot. Surprise of surprise! Screenshot is exactly where it is supposed to be! Not sure how it got all corrected but I'm very happy to be back up to my version of normal!
Thank you folks for input and help!

This is not a solution. Dropbox Screenshots in Windows 11 DO NOT WORK

I'm not sure how to phase this, or if my original question was the confusing one.
When I hit print screen I wanted that screenshot to go into a folder marked Screenshot in my Dropbox rather than to my lappy's hard drive. Quite honestly I don't like saving anything to the laptop unless to a remote hard drive or to DB . . .
The laptop in question did collapse 13 months ago . . and I got a new HP also running OS Windows 11
So far I've be able to save all my screenshots directly into my drop box without fuss or issue. 🤞Fingers cross that I don't jinx it 😉
