I cannot access my paid account as the email Dropbox uses is a defunct hotmail account.
Hi: I cannot access my paid account as the email Dropbox uses is a defunct hotmail account (that I used years ago).
I cannot receive the code to access my account even though my email and password are correct. Every way I am blocked. I have spent hours trying to figure out a way to gain access. My account is treated as "Basic" even though I pay monthly, so I do not have access to support. The Sales chat box does not have access to accounts. Endless loops.
Even on my credit card, the Dropbox phone number is “invalid.”
Any idea on how to speak with someone to gain access to my account?

Hi there, Fran16, & Aniqueshah29, welcome to our Community!
From what I understood, it sounds like you no longer have access to the email address linked to the Dropbox account, right?
Do you have any old, connected devices that would help you see the files in the account?
If I were you, I'd try to contact the email service provider and see if they can reactivate the address -even temporarily- so you can receive the security code.
I hope this helps!
