Merged accounts after accepting a share. How to undo this?

Hi, i received a link to a shared folder and it gave me two options. Keep them seperate and create a new account or merge the account

I selected merge and it has now put me in the senders account.

I also received an email saying a refund will be processed to my account

This is an error, i do nott want to merge accounts, i need my own dropbox back.

How do i "undo" this so i can access my normal account

Regards

Jason

Hello! Were you able to successfully rectify this situation without losing any data along the way? We are currently in the same boat and looking for a solution.

You need to contact the team admin and ask them to convert your account back to an individual account. It's very important that they don't just remove you from the team as doing so would delete your account. If that were to happen they only have seven days to restore your account. They must convert it back to an individual account.
